I have exciting news to share. I have been accepted into the Boston University Research Center 's Progam for CTE. I have mixed feelings about the city of Boston as I am a Buffalo Guy. I once took a good ass kickin in Boston but that's a story for another Blog. I will say this I did take my revenge at a Tampa Bay Rays Game with an unruly Red Sox Fan so I guess I am 1-1. But, back to the good news I am excited to say that I will be traveling to Boston on May 14th and 15th to begin a series of testing that will take place ever year to help determine just where I stand with this whole CTE brain damage situation. You see Boston University is where Dr. Chis Nowinski is located and if you do your research you will find out he is the man when it comes to brain damage and research in regards to CTE. How I got this opportunity is really cool!! You see this website and my art is getting around a bit and it was sent to some of his research team and then Dr. Nowinski himself and then I made a phone call and I was on my way to being included in their research. All I had to do was agree to donate my brain. Once I am finished with it of course. Now this gets better, Boston University has a fundraising foundation called the Concussion Legacy Foundation. They do much good work for athletes and veterans that suffer form CTE like myself. I have been in contact with these people as well and we have agreed that my artwork will be used in some capacity at their Gala event in October to raise money for their organization. So I am very excited about this as well. It is here were I have to thank the many people in my life that are showing their support for me. I know there are many of you out there that are on the QUACKADELIK ride and I thank you all.
